Terms of Service
The rules for using xHalo accounts, content, AI tools, and developer services.

1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms apply to your xHalo account and the reading, learning, research, creative, communication, and developer services that link to them. Please also read any additional terms for a particular service.
By creating an account, signing in, or using a service, you accept these Terms. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to accept them on its behalf.
You must be at least 18, or the minimum legal age required where you live, and legally able to enter into this agreement.
2. Your account and access
One xHalo account can connect you to several products. Each service may have its own permissions, usage limits, and availability. Signing in does not grant access to every product, model, or API.
Keep your account details accurate and protect your credentials, API keys, and access tokens. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Unless the law says otherwise, you are responsible for activity under your account and the credentials you authorize.
Available sign-in methods are shown on the sign-in page. If you choose Google, Microsoft, or another provider, its terms and privacy policy also apply.
3. Services, limits, and charges
The xHalo ecosystem covers classic-text reading and English learning; Agents research; Crawl web and PDF collection; Corpus search; Document processing; AI Studio creation; Story writing; TTS speech; Image tools; and Chat, Mail, Blog, and community services. Developers can connect through the APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, and MCP capabilities that have been made available.
Feature availability, file sizes, request rates, model choices, and quotas follow the relevant product page, documentation, and account rules. Preview features may have restricted access. Browser-local processing and server processing may use different quotas; an allowance for one does not automatically apply to the other.
If a feature is paid, its price, billing method, term, and renewal or cancellation rules are those shown when you purchase or enable it. These Terms do not themselves place an order.
4. Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit. You grant xHalo the permission needed to host, copy, transmit, process, and display it to operate, secure, support, and improve the services you request. This does not transfer ownership of your content.
Make sure you have the rights to use the text, images, audio, video, files, code, and sources you submit. Before sharing through rooms, communities, blogs, or public pages, check the audience and relevant rights. Publicly readable content is not necessarily free to copy or republish; source texts, translations, news, and other material may have their own licenses.
xHalo software, branding, documentation, and service technology remain the property of their respective owners.
5. AI-assisted features and Agents
AI can help with research, retrieval, drafting, revisions, media, and tasks, but its output may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable. Check facts, sources, rights, and suitability before publishing or acting on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Check what you submit to models and tools and the access and actions you authorize for an Agent. Some tasks require additional permission or human review, as shown in the relevant feature. Do not bypass those safeguards for convenience.
In Story, drafts and AI suggestions are not confirmed story facts: an author must accept the relevant changes. Follow each product’s review, sending, and publishing process. Do not misleadingly present generated material as human-authored or verified authority.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use xHalo for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud, harassment, spam, malware, impersonation, or exploitation of children.
Do not bypass authentication, permissions, quotas, or security controls; probe systems without permission; collect restricted content; or disrupt services. When using Crawl, search, APIs, or automation, respect source-site rules, access limits, and applicable law. A reachable URL is not permission for unrestricted collection.
Do not reverse engineer protected systems except where the law allows it. Use available APIs for automation and follow their documented limits.
7. Third-party services
Some features use external authentication, infrastructure, models, analytics, communication, or storage providers, or link to external websites. Read the terms and privacy notices that apply to the features you choose.
We choose and review providers according to their role, but cannot control all independent third-party content and services. Check access scopes when connecting an external account or tool.
8. Availability and changes
We may adjust, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, improvement, or operational reasons. Where practicable, we will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect an active paid service.
Beta, preview, and experimental features can change and may have additional limits. Roadmaps and “coming soon” notices do not mean a feature is already available.
9. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You can stop using xHalo and request account deletion through available settings or support. We may restrict access to protect people or systems, investigate abuse, meet legal duties, or address a material breach. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve it.
Closing an account, deleting a project, revoking a key, and ending a third-party authorization are different actions. Follow the relevant product’s process. A deletion request may not immediately remove records needed for security, legal duties, disputes, or backup rotation.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every result will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, xHalo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill resulting from use of the services.
11. Governing rules and disputes
Applicable law governs these Terms without limiting mandatory consumer protections available where you live. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
12. Contact and changes to these Terms
Contact support@xhalo.co with questions or legal notices. We may update these Terms as the services or law change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate.
